Today, the NFL released its All-Pro teams. It was composed of the best players of each position. The full list can be viewed here. Naturally, everybody cannot make the team, and there are a few big snubs that are left out each year. Here is a list of the guys that were left out, and who they could have potentially replaced.

Zach Ertz, TE, Philadelphia Eagles

Ertz was arguably the best tight end in football this year, but was left out in favor of George Kittle and Travis Kelce. While both of those players were great on their own, Ertz set the single season reception record for a tight end. Kelce's production might have been overvalued due to the success of his team, and could be interchanged with Ertz here.

Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Evans shattered records in both franchise and league history, and finished third in the league in receiving yards. He ranked above Tyreek Hill, who got in as a FLEX and a receiver, in yards and receptions but still did not get the nod. Hill again might have been slightly overvalued with his teams success, and could have been swapped with Evans on the second team.

Trey Flowers, DE, New England Patriots

While Flowers might not have had the best statistical season, Pro Football Focus had him rated as a top 5 edge player, and was ranked higher than Cam Jordan, who made it in. Flowers only missed two tackles the entire year, while also forcing two fumbles and racking up 7.5 sacks. His lack of 'splash' plays likely kept him off of the list.

Patrick Peterson, CB, Arizona Cardinals

Peterson has been the most consistent cornerback in the NFL for the past 5 years. In fact, Peterson has made it in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017. He did not have the best stats on the year, but this is likely because nobody threw at him for fear he would make a play. Xavien Howard, whp is on the Miami Dolphins, made it over him as he had 7 interceptions on the year.
