Chiefs - Rams: Heaven on a football field.

This Monday night, the NFL's two most dynamic teams will square off in L.A., the most celebrity-packed area in the USA. This game feels as if though it was scripted by God for the NFL. It features the new face of the NFL in wunderkind Patrick Mahomes III and his Chiefs, facing off against up and coming Jared Goff and his Rams. Along with this, it features two offensive-minded coaches in Sean McVay and Andy Reid, who are given a wide variety of offensive assets beyond their quarterbacks, like Kareem Hunt, Todd Gurley, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Brandin Cooks.

Aside from all the offensive superpowers, this game features another thing good for the NFL - no defense. Both teams have good individual players on defense(Aaron Donald, Marcus Peters, Dee Ford), but definitely are not their team's strong spot. The NFL likes this because it gives us a glance at what might become the future of football. Two teams engaged in a shootout, perhaps both scoring above 40 points. Viewers love these games, as to them, defense if boring.

Another thing viewers find boring is running the football. More and more teams have running backs that are also stellar in the passing game. Almost every contender as this type of dual-threat running back, including the Chiefs and the Rams. Todd Gurley and Kareem Hunt have combined for nearly 1800 rushing yards and 700 receiving yards, on top of scoring 10 touchdowns through the air. For comparison, Michael Thomas and Adam Thielen, widely regarded as among the league's top wideouts, only have seven scores apiece. This goes to show how much the old school, ground and pound running back has been replaced by players like Gurley or Hunt.

As for who will win the game, if they play it right, the Rams should be able to prevail over the Chiefs dangerous offense. While defense has been severely diminished, as shown above, DT Aaron Donald will be the factor that changes this game.

Prediction : Rams 34, Chiefs 31 - Pat Mahomes - 4 TD, Aaron Donald - 3 sacks
