Tonight, Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James will pick from the 22 player all-star pool to see who will join their team. Today, we will look at who each captain will pick, and a score prediction for the game.
Round One(Starters):
1st Pick - Kyrie Irving(Team LeBron)
Kyrie and LeBron will be reunited once again. With Kyrie hinting at possibly reuniting with LeBron, this pick would make for some great storylines. Also, we would get to see the Kyrie-LeBron alley-oops from their Cleveland days.
2nd Pick - Stephen Curry(Team Giannis)
Giannis will pick Curry, who is a fan favorite. Curry also compliments Giannis extremely well, as he can knock down shots and spread the ball, while Giannis is more centered around driving to the hoop.
3rd Pick - Kevin Durant(Team LeBron)
Durant is one of the best players in the league. He and LeBron will both have insane length and scoring abilities, and will put on a show.
4th Pick - James Harden(Team Giannis)
The leagues MVP frontrunner is a candidate to go number one. Harden will probably find a way to score 45 points for team Giannis despite being surrounded by other superstars.
5th Pick - Kawhi Leonard(Team LeBron)
While Leonard might not be the flashiest or loudest player, he is extremely good. Kawhi might be the only player on the floor that actually tries to p;ay defense because, well, its Kawhi Leonard.
6th Pick - Joel Embiid(Team Giannis)
Giannis has already said he would like to get Embiid and Russell Westbrook on his team. Embiid and Giannis would be a terrifying, trash talking, mean mugging, euro-stepping twin towers.
7th Pick - Paul George(Team LeBron)
Well, they couldn't play together in LA, but at least they will in the all-star game. George has been on a scoring tear an also is a pickpocket, so there will be a lot of George to LeBron plays.
8th Pick - Kemba Walker(Team Giannis)
The starters are rounded out with Walker, who is, with all due to respect to him, easily the worst player among these 10. On the bright side, he's still an all-star starter.
Round Two(Reserves)
1st Pick - Anthony Davis(Team Giannis)
Davis was robbed of an all-star starter spot, and is the best reserve by far. Giannis is almost certainly going to pick AD here.
2nd Pick - Damian Lillard(Team LeBron)
Lillard is an excellent player that can go off at any time. He also can give Steph Curry competition for the most 50 foot three pointers launched.
3rd Pick - Khris Middleton(Team Giannis)
Middleton is definitely not the best player available right here, and he could possibly go a lot lower. However, I believe Giannis will want to take his fellow Buck rather than someone else.
4th Pick - Nikola Jokic(Team LeBron)
The Joker has been a top 10 player this year, and even was called a starter snub by a few, Expect him to make more than a couple highlight reel passes.
5th Pick - Russell Westbrook(Team Giannis)
Despite being in a horrendously bad shooting slump, Giannis has already said he would try and draft Westbrook. He likely won't get a better chance than now.
6th Pick - Klay Thompson(Team LeBron)
LeBron will take the other Splash Brother for himself, and now has two extremely dangerous sharpshooters on his team.
7th Pick - Karl-Anthony Towns(Team Giannis)
KAT is an all around big man that can shoot, rebound, and spread the ball. He should have a few back board rattling dunks.
8th Pick - Blake Griffin(Team LeBron)
After missing the cut last year, Griffin is having himself a career season in Detroit. He will have an extremely entertaining lob city connection with LeBron.
9th Pick - Bradley Beal(Team Giannis)
Beal has had to carry the Wizards this year, and is having a career year. Giannis will pick him because of his shooting abilities.
10th Pick - Kyle Lowry(Team LeBron)
Lowry has been extremely efficient for the Raptors this year. He will be paired up with teammate Kawhi Leonard in the all-star game.
11th Pick - Ben Simmons(Team Giannis)
Simmons is an absolute matchup nightmare, as he has insane passing skills but is 6'10. Expect defenders to stand at roughly the block when he has the ball.
.12th Pick - LaMarcus Aldridge(Team LeBron)
Aldridge is probably the most natural big man in the league, and might be the best post threat in the entire league.
13th Pick - D'Angelo Russell(Team Giannis)
Named the replacement for Victor Oladipo, DLo will get a chance to show fo his skills and prove that he is an all-star for years to come.
14th Pick - Nikola Vucevic(Team LeBron)
Vooch is having a career season, and is pretty much Nikola Jokic with less cool passes. The two Nikolas will be fun to watch.
15th Pick - Dwyane Wade(Team LeBron)
Along with Dirk Nowitzki, Wade was added to the team out of respect. LeBron will surely take is longtime friend.
16th Pick - Dirk Nowitzki(Team Giannis)
