Week 3 of the NFL certainly had its surprises. Backup quarterbacks played out of their minds, and the Bills, 49ers, and Lions have not lost yet. Nonetheless, it was an excellent week of football.
Biggest Blowout: Cowboys 31, Dolphins 6
Well, the Dolphins are on the wrong end of this section for the third time in three weeks. This time, they at least kept it competitive for a half before falling apart like they usually do. The tank is certainly on, and there are reports that Kenyan Drake could be on his way out. Dallas improved to 3-0 after defeating three relatively easy teams to start the year.

Biggest Surprise: Lions 27, Eagles 24
I don't think a single person expected the Lions to win this game, and for good reason. They were under matched at every position, yet somehow pulled off a win. Carson Wentz carried his team the whole way, but nobody else pulled their load. Philadelphia is currently at 1-2, and with the Super Bowl set as their goal, will need to turn things around fast.

Biggest Disappointment: Seahawks 27, Saints 33
This game was supposed to be a super competitive, tightly contested match between two NFC teams with playoff aspirations. However, following Drew Brees' injury, the Seahawks seemed like the clear favorite. Instead, they were embarrassed by Teddy Bridgewater and company in a game that was a lot less close than the score suggests.

Snooze-fest of the Week: Jaguars 20, Titans 7
Enjoy Punts, bad offense, and turnovers? In which case, this game was for you. Neither of these AFC South foes could get anything going, and if it wasn't for Gardner Minshew and his moustached magic, Jacksonville would have been a train wreck. In a very competitive division where anybody could make it out, this game was very discouraging, especially for Marcus Mariota and the Titans.
Game of the Week: Chiefs 33, Ravens 28
This game had all the action and magic that we hoped for. Kansas City jumped out to an early 28-10 lead, highlighted by a 83 yard Mecole Hardman touchdown, but the Ravens stormed back. After missing a two point conversion on three straight touchdowns, they required a stop to get the ball back with under a minute left on third down. However, Andy Reid drew up the perfect screen pass play, and the Chiefs converted the first down and won the game.

Week 3 MVP: Daniel Jones, who led the Giants to a come from behind victory in his first career start.
Major Injuries: Saquon Barkley, high ankle sprain, out 4-6 weeks. Keanu Neal, torn achilles, done for the season.
