Five weeks. That's how much football has already escaped us. Time really does fly by when you're having fun. Thankfully, if you happened to miss any part of week 5 of the NFL, we are here to recap it for you.
Biggest Blowout: 49ers 34, Browns 3
Wow. Just wow. The Browns, who were everyone's trendy pick to be Super Bowl contenders, are currently below .500 and just suffered one of the worst beatings in Monday Night Football history. They were completely and utterly dismantled by the 49ers, who raced out to a 14-3 lead and never looked back. Baker Mayfield looks like he needs to walk the walk before talking the talk, and Jimmy Garropollo and company are now 4-0. Cleveland fans will be in for a major disappointment if the team continues to play this way.

Biggest Surprise: Raiders 24, Bears 21
This was supposed to be the Khalil Mack revenge game, where the Bears front seven terrorizes the miserable Raiders offensive line and shows Jon Gruden what a big mistake he made. However, the Raiders played outstandingly, especially in the first half, where they held a 17-0 lead. Despite almost blowing it, they managed to win the game in London, proving that they are to be taken seriously going forward.

Biggest Disappointment: Colts 19, Chiefs 13
The Chiefs were the heavy favorite in this game. Playing a Colts team that didn't even have a fully healthy Marlon Mack, they were expected to win despite not having Tyreek Hill. Instead, their defense was exposed time after time after time, as Mack himself got over 120 yards on the ground. Patrick Mahomes could not play defense, so the Chiefs lost the game. It marked the first time since November 2017 that Kansas City didn't put up at least 25 points in a game.

Snooze-Fest of the Week: Bills 14, Titans 7
For the longest time, it was unclear whether or not either party wanted to win this game. The two teams combined for 12 punts totaling 500 yards, which was more than the two quarterbacks combined to throw for. If you couldn't tell, it was a boring, not very competitive game which the Bills eventually won.

Game of the Week: Ravens 26, Steelers 23(OT)
The Steelers, who were down to undrafted rookie free agent Devlin Hodges at quarterback after Mason Rudolph was concussed, put up a surprisingly good fight against the Ravens. They were actually ahead in the fourth quarter, and forced Lamar Jackson into throwing three interceptions. However, Justin Tucker was simply too good for them, as the most accurate kicker in NFL History kicked two field goals to tie, and then win the game for Baltimore.

Week 5 MVP: Christian McCaffery, who had 237 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers' 34-27 win over the Jaguars.
