One of the more anticipated deals that may take place this summer includes Manchester United’s midfielder Paul Pogba. With two teams having the French international down on their shortlists a priority target, Pogba’s future is bright. To start off, Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has directed the board to prioritize the 26-year-old’s move to Bernabeu this summer. In order to cut down on Pogba’s high price, however, Los Blancos plans to offer 3 of their players to secure the deal. Zidane is said to be offering United Gareth Bale, James Rodrigues, and Keylor Navas to lessen the Frenchman’s price tag. However, to add to Pogba’s dilemma, devils’ manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has offered Pogba captainship in the season to come displaying his eagerness to keep his player. Meanwhile, a third party with their eyes on Pogba rises. His former club, Juventus, has reportedly been in touch with United as they show interest in having their midfielder back at Allianz. The Red Devils, on the other hand, want £88 million for Pogba who moved to Old Trafford merely 2 years ago in 2017. However, with the extra competition for acquiring the 26-year-old, Juventus may also offer a deal containing players such as the likes of Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa to win over Pogba’s interest. Having already played with the Turin club, Pogba and his playstyle would be suited to the team. If partnered up with Cristiano Ronaldo, his play-making abilities and talents could make for a powerful weapon for Juventus. In Madrid, however, his utility would be not as much. A playmaking midfielder’s performance heavily relies on the abilities of their striker, but with Madrid’s striker crisis, Pogba’s potential might not be used to the fullest. Nevertheless, with Zidane’s upcoming plans to fix this crisis, Pogba might also fit into the Los Blancos squad.

Madrid is also looking to haved Lyon defender Ferland Mendy at Santiago Bernabeu as he gets ready to undergo the medical proceedings to confirm the deal. The 23-year-old has already said yes to a Los Blancos move while in talks with manager Zinedine Zidane, who plans for him to fll in Marcelo’s spot. The left-back has made a name for himself in Ligue 1 during his 79 appearances for Lyon and is set to fill into Zidane’s plans this summer. Furthermore, they have already signed Luka Jovic, a serbian forward. The transfer includes a £62 million intial fee and will last for 6 years until 2025. The Frankfurt youth was deemed to join an elite club such as Barcelona or Bayern Munich as well as Real Madrid. However, Zidane beat all rivals to the 21-year-old by offering nearly £9 million more that his estimated value. Having scored 17 goals in the Bundesliga, Jovic makes for a strong striker with a good shot and incredible tricks and skills making him an ideal choice to help fix Madrid’s stricker crisis.
Manchester United is also involved in the race for Leicester midfielder James Maddison this summer. If Pogba leaves, as mentioned above, the 22-year-old who has caught the eye of Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City would be a perfect fit. Out of all these teams showing interest in Maddison, however, the Red Devils are the most likely to acquire the youth at Old Trafford with a possible £60 million offer. Although they have made no official move towards Leicester, Maddison has been linked for a while with the English team, who has noticed the midfielder’s amazing key passes. Meanwhile, United also has its eyes on others with a goal to add young, talented players to their squad this summer. The likes of Adrien Rabiot has also been connected with moves to Old Trafford. With his contract at PSG soon ending, Adrien Rabiot will be open for transfer this summer, and although they face competitions for the 23-year-old from clubs such as Liverpool and Barcelona, the Red Devils and Solskjaer plan to offer wages of £170,000 a week as well as a £4.5 million signing in order to assure the youth’s move.

Moreover, on top of granting Inter Milan a great player, this deal also benefits Roma upgrading their budget for purchases this year.
After having been loaned to Bayern Munich, who have decided not to sign the 27-year-old permanently, James Rodriguez is likely to move to Serie A team Napoli this summer. As Rodriguez’s two year loan contract at Bayern approaches its final months, the Colombian gets ready to head back to Bernabeu. However, Real Madrid does not seem keen on keeping him in the squad. As a result, Rodriguez is rumored to be headed to Napoli over the summer in order to play regular first-team soccer after his 13 Bundesliga matches last campaign.
Similar to Rodriguez, defender Filipe Luis’s contract is set to run out soon, and Barcelona lead the race to sign the 33-year-old who is getting ready to leave Atletico Madrid this summer. The Spanish club is looking for the Brazilian to fill in the spot of Jordi Alba at Camp Nou. However, no move has been made from either side regarding contracts for Luis, who hopes to confirm his fate before the Copa America commences.
Five-time-Ballon d’Or winner Messi also advises the Barcelona President to have Neymar Jr. come back to Camp Nou. On the PSG side of things, Neymar is also eager for the possibility of his transfer after his realization of his lacking potential in France. However, Barcelona also faces competition from their rivals Real Madrid who have been in talks with Neymar’s representatives about a transfer to Bernabeu. It is also said that PSG prefer selling the Brazilian international to Los Blancos. Nonetheless, in order to beat their competition, Barca is said to be willing to offer two players to persuade the Ligue 1 winners to give the forward up.
