After 9 long years full of intense games with Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus this summer. The Italian Club agreed on an 88.3-million-pound offer for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. Ronaldo brought much glory and fame to Real Madrid and made them stand out in the La Liga and in return Real Madrid became the club that would help Ronaldo prove that he is one of the best in the world. His move brought many questions that asked how the European giants Real Madrid would fare without their 33-year-old superstar. On the other hand, Serie A fans could only wonder about the big ripple Ronaldo would create in the Italian league.

Despite all this, Ronaldo is not quite needed to win the Serie A title for Juventus, a club who has already accomplished this feat seven times. However, the prestigious Italian football club is yet to conquer Europe in the Champions League. Ronaldo might very well be the one to help Juventus finally cross this hurdle. Nonetheless, the champions league only lasts 13 games which make it a third of a normal league season. Many setbacks such as injuries or simply just an off-day can alter a teams performance completely. As a result, it cannot be guaranteed that the 4-time-champions league winner can get can Juventus past this complication but he is the best chance they have at it.
In 2013, a forward, named Gonzalo Higuaín who played for real Madrid, transferred to Napoli before moving once more to Juventus. One would think Ronaldo and Higuaín would have great chemistry due to the many years they played together under Florentino Perez. However, Ronaldo’s very existence as a forward jeopardizes the 31-year-old’s place on the roster as a footballer who plays the same position. In the future, this may cause some issues, and it is very well possible that Higuaín might transfer to a club such as Chelsea.
No matter where he goes, Ronaldo doesn't fail to show off that he is the best around. With 14 games played, the 33-year-old superstar has scored 10 goals and is tied for the title of top scorer of Serie A. Furthermore, Ronaldo has the second most assists with 5 assists which have further boosted his reputation in Serie A up until now. Many critics may have argued that Ronaldo was all about goals, and that he wasn't a playmaker, but have things changed now?
Good results are not the only thing Ronaldo brings to Juventus. There are many commercial as well as financial uses that Juventus benefits from. Since the superstar moved to Juventus, Cr7 fans will go to the end of the world to get their hands on Juventus merchandise like jerseys with Ronaldo’s name on its back. This is accompanied by social media growth, an increase in tickets sold and also a surge in the price of a share of Juventus.
For one man, Cristiano Ronaldo has managed to create quite the ripple like a stone thrown in a lake that is Serie A. These effects will go on in the years to come, and they may bring Juventus more glory and fame than any single mind could imagine.
