Tottenham Hotspur vs. AFC Ajax (First Leg: 4/30; 3:00 PM)

AFC Ajax vs. Tottenham Hotspur (Second Leg: 5/8; 3:00 PM)

In this case, both teams are almost equally matched in talent and skill, which will no doubt result in a close game. With Ajax’s powerful teamwork and passing, they will certainly prove to be a challenging foe to the Spurs, especially with Harry Kane’s injury. Nonetheless, Tottenham is anticipated to be the ones to head to the finals, and their dominant offense and midfield are sure to take them there. Their squad, containing capable players such as Son, Eriksen, and Alli, possess great attacking power and give meaning to the saying ‘The best defense is a good offense’. Although it is bound to be a match with many ups and downs, Tottenham Hotspur is expected to win.

FC Barcelona vs. Liverpool (First Leg: 5/1; 3:00 PM)

Liverpool vs. FC Barcelona (Second Leg: 5/7; 3:00 PM)

This match is also certain to be a thrilling match with highs and lows. With top scorers such as Salah and Mane among their ranks, Liverpool is able to overcome almost any obstacle in their path. In fact, these are the very reasons why they are at the top of the Premier League and why they made it to the Champions League finals last year. However, alongside being the crowd favorites to win, Barcelona also stronger, more balanced squad. Barcelona is full of elite players such as Messi and Suarez, as well as Rakitic and Pique, that are able to dominate their parts of the field giving them greater control and possession. As a result, FC Barcelona is anticipated to move on the finals of the UEFA Champions League.
